An alternative option to sharing dates with participants is to send calendar date invitations. Sending calendar invites to participants is a convenient option that ensures real-time updates for all involved. By sending calendar invites, you can effortlessly keep everyone in the loop and provide them with the latest transaction dates. This method allows for greater flexibility, as you can choose to send invites for select dates rather than the entire calendar, making it a versatile solution for managing schedules and appointments effectively.

Send Calendar Invite

  1. Select the date's Calendar Icon
  2. Select "Create Calendar Invitation"
  3. Select all transaction participants (and add any additional emails)
  4. Click Invite

Note: When the dates are updated, all receipents that accepted the invites will automatically get an email notifying them of the changes.

Tip: You can send invites to multiple dates at once by selecting dates → Invite button (beside actions button).

Resending Invites

A calendar event cannot add the same email as a participant for one event. Much like you cannot add the same email to a event directly on your google calendar, zoom event, google meet, etc; therefore the resend checkbox (or resend icon) is telling the system to resend notification to that specific email already tied to the event as a participant.

Invite Workflow

First Date Invites?

send one of the 2 listed ways:

  • Use the multi select feature → use Invite button beside the actions button → multi select or add emails
  • Select the calendar icon beside the date's due date → use the Invite button → multi select or add emails

Updated A Date?

always check for previously invited email participants

Previously Sent Invite:

  • Marked Accepted (green checkmark) = no additional action needed. They will receive email notification telling them there was an update (they will not need to complete any action to this, it is already reflected in their calendar).

  • Marked Sent (navy email icon) = need to resend invite using the resend icon beside the email or ensure the resend checkbox is selected when using invite button. They will receive another email notification with updated information for the email connection set for that calendar event (where you first sent the invite/added to event).

  • Marked Denied (red x) = no need to resend that invite, they have already denied the invite to the event.

Not Yet Invited:

send invite just like you would for the first invites listed above.

Transaction Cancel?

Remove the invited emails listed using the x button on the right. This will send an updated email to let them know this event is now cancelled, regardless if they accepted the event invite or not yet.
