If you are looking at your daily focus and do not see your tasks for a transaction but they are listed in the transaction task tab, then check out the following steps to help troubleshoot why. If you still are having issues, then please send an email to customer support at support@aframesoftware.com with details on which transaction and missing tasks.


Daily Focus Filter

Check your filter selection for your daily focus. This will filter down the tasks according to the selection.

  • All Dates: overdue, today, and future tasks
  • Upcoming: today, and future tasks
  • Today: today only
  • Past Due: all past due
  • No Due Date: tasks with no due date populated yet (waiting)



Task Assignment

Remember the task will not show up under the daily focus or dashboard tasks if they are not assigned to you. Check under the transaction tab to see who is assigned to the missing task. 

If the task is not assigned to you, then you can reassign the task(s). Check all tasks needing reassignment > Actions > Edit > Assign User. Then check the task template setup to see why the task was not assigned to you.


Task Template Setup

Check your task template has the tasks assigned to the proper role needed. This will assign the tasks according to this assignment once it is applied to the transaction.


If you have more than one standard user (or possibly will), then it is best practice to not use the "current user" assignment and use a transaction role selection. This will prevent the tasks from being assigned to the wrong standard user if one standard user sets up a transaction for another standard user.


TIP: If tasks are set to TC 1 role and no TC gets assigned to the transaction, then AFrame will auto assign the tasks to the primary agent as a fall back.



Transaction Role Assignment

Check to make sure the transaction has all roles assigned needed for the task template to assign the tasks correctly. If you are using transaction coordinators as standard users, then make sure to assign them to the TC 1 role. This will ensure that when applying the task template, if tasks are set to transaction TC 1 role, then it will assign the tasks to the correct standard user.
