Have you ever found yourself with multiple contacts for the same person? It can be frustrating to have to sort through duplicates and outdated information. Not only does it make your contact list messy, but it can also lead to confusion and mistakes when trying to reach out to someone. Luckily, merging duplicate contacts is a simple solution that can save you time and improve the accuracy of your database. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to merge duplicate contacts in your program.
How To Merge Contacts
- Open the contact search page.
Open in AFrame: Contact Search Page
- Add the AFrame-provided Duplicate Search View to your page. You will find this under Manage Views > Shared & Predefined Views.
- Select the contacts (max is 2 at a time). Click Edit > Merge Contacts.
- Select which data will be used for the merged contact. All related entries, such as Contact Notes, Tasks, and Transactions, will automatically be merged with the Contacts.
